Key Responsibilities

• Process referrals to specialty areas for PCP and consulting physicians, including securing authorizations
• Answer incoming calls regarding referrals and coordinate tasks with patients and specialty offices
• Complete and track authorization requests, ensuring effective communication with insurance companies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient access or referral coordination
• Familiarity with insurance authorization processes
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
