Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator - Virtual/Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, process, and redirect referrals across the health system
• Verify insurance eligibility and secure prior authorizations
• Communicate referral status to patients and providers while documenting all referral activity

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in healthcare or insurance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in referral coordination or related fields
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Experience with CPT and ICD coding is preferred
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
