Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Process referrals to specialty areas and coordinate appointments
Answer incoming calls regarding referrals and communicate with patients
Track and complete authorization requests for insurance companies

Required Qualifications

Experience in patient access or referral coordination
Knowledge of insurance authorization processes
Ability to work in a telecommuting environment
Familiarity with ICD-9 coding
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare is a plus
