Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referrals Coordinator - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient referrals and serve as the primary liaison between patients and referral specialist offices
• Assist patients in navigating care options and complete prior authorization requirements for coverage
• Document patient interactions and maintain confidentiality while managing multiple systems

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical navigator role
• Experience with insurance plans, precertification, and referral management
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedural coding
• Understanding of HIPAA standards to maintain privacy and confidentiality
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft 365 applications
