Job Summary
A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator who will manage referrals and authorizations for a PCP office.
Key Responsibilities
- Process referrals to specialty areas and coordinate appointments with insurance companies
- Answer incoming calls regarding referrals and communicate with patients about their referral status
- Complete authorization requests and track communications with insurance companies
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in referral coordination or patient access
- Familiarity with insurance authorization processes

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
