Job Summary

Expediting patient referrals and serving as a resource for insurance plan guidelines, the full-time Referral Coordinator will manage administrative requirements remotely while ensuring efficient healthcare operations.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite administrative requirements and logistics for patient referrals
• Act as a resource on referrals and insurance plan guidelines
• Utilize independent decision-making and strong interpersonal skills in daily tasks

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in a medical setting or insurance company
• Experience in managed care desired
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding preferred
