Job Summary
To ensure timely and compliant access to care, the full-time Referral Coordinator will oversee the intake and referral management process, coordinating appointments and supplemental benefits for members while serving as a liaison between providers, patients, and internal clinical teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the intake and referral process, ensuring accurate processing and timely access to services
- Act as the primary point of contact for providers and clinical leadership regarding referral activities
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards while identifying opportunities for workflow optimization
Required qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare intake, referral coordination, or related operations
- Experience in managed care or population health environments is preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing performance metrics and driving operational improvements
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements impacting intake and referrals
