Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

Expediting patient referrals in a remote full-time capacity, the Referral Coordinator will manage administrative requirements, serve as a resource on insurance guidelines, and utilize independent decision-making to ensure efficient healthcare operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Expedite administrative requirements and logistics for patient referrals
• Act as a resource regarding referrals and insurance plan guidelines
• Utilize independent decision-making and strong interpersonal skills in daily tasks

Required qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in a medical setting or insurance company
• Experience in managed care desired
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
