Job Summary

To ensure patient and provider access to healthcare services, the full-time, remote Referral Management Supervisor will oversee staff responsible for managing referrals and authorizations while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing patient experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise staff to ensure accurate completion of referrals and authorizations in compliance with policies
  • Implement processes to minimize payment denials and improve patient access to care
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and other departments to maintain efficient referral management workflows
Required qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred; two years of leadership experience may substitute for degree
  • Two years of experience in Access Services, Pre-Service, Referral Management, or Revenue Cycle required
  • Demonstrated skills in a leadership or supervisory role
  • One year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Internal candidates may be considered if minimum qualifications are not met
