Job Summary
To ensure patient and provider access to healthcare services, the full-time, remote Referral Management Supervisor will oversee staff responsible for managing referrals and authorizations while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff to ensure accurate completion of referrals and authorizations in compliance with policies
- Implement processes to minimize payment denials and improve patient access to care
- Collaborate with clinical leaders and other departments to maintain efficient referral management workflows
Required qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; two years of leadership experience may substitute for degree
- Two years of experience in Access Services, Pre-Service, Referral Management, or Revenue Cycle required
- Demonstrated skills in a leadership or supervisory role
- One year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Internal candidates may be considered if minimum qualifications are not met
