Job Summary

Leading a team of Supervisors and agents, the full-time Referral Operations Manager will ensure patients referred from Summit Health locations are scheduled for follow-up care, optimize workflows, and manage performance metrics in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee and evaluate the performance of Supervisors, ensuring adherence to performance standards
  • Drive care continuity by scheduling follow-up appointments for patients and addressing escalated concerns
  • Utilize data to manage operational goals, monitor employee engagement, and collaborate with leadership on staffing needs
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an Access/Call Center management role or comparable management experience
  • Experience in call center, referral, and/or appointment scheduling within a healthcare setting is essential
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus
  • Ability to analyze trends and develop action plans to improve operational performance
