Job Summary

Processing internal and external referrals for ambulatory services, the full-time Referral Program Coordinator will manage prior authorizations, schedule patients, and handle communication via phone and online chat in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for ambulatory services, procedures, and medications
• Obtain prior authorizations and schedule patients while managing inbound and outbound phone calls
• Communicate with patients through online chat to facilitate their care

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
