Job Summary

Processing referrals for Ambulatory services, the full-time Referral Program Coordinator will handle internal and external referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and schedule patients while working during day shifts in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for Ambulatory services, procedures, and medications
• Obtain prior authorizations and schedule patients while managing inbound and outbound phone calls
• Communicate with patients via online chat to facilitate the referral process

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
