Job Summary

Processing referrals for ambulatory services, the full-time Referral Program Coordinator will obtain prior authorizations, schedule patients, and manage communication through phone and online chat in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for ambulatory services, procedures, and medications
• Obtain prior authorizations and schedule patient appointments
• Manage inbound and outbound phone calls and communicate with patients via online chat

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred
