Referral Service Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Service Representative to coordinate incoming and external referrals throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process incoming and external referrals accurately and timely
• Gather and analyze data to support referral efforts and provide excellent service
• Assist patients, providers, and external facilities with referral services

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service
• Preferred completion of a vocational technical program related to health services
• Successful completion of medical terminology and anatomy & physiology courses at time of hire is preferred
• Proficiency with typing and keyboard skills is required
• Experience in customer service within healthcare or health insurance is preferred
