Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist - West Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage referrals to ensure timely patient care from specialists and external providers
• Process provider orders for labs, medical equipment, and diagnostics, ensuring accuracy and proper routing
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, streamlining communication and resolving issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes
• Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant or relevant experience in care coordination and referrals
• Preferred: Experience in a value-based healthcare setting
