Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist for the YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the central point of contact for patient referrals and oversees scheduling for the appropriate specialty
• Provides information on scheduling policies and procedures to patients and referring providers
• Coordinates administrative activities and serves as a resource for office procedures and systems

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, with four years in the same job family, or an Associate's degree with related experience
• High school education or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience in a high-volume healthcare related call center or medical practice is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical record systems
• Proven record of exemplary attendance and reliability
