Referral Specialist

Job Summary

To support the patient referral process, the full-time Referral Specialist will manage referral orders, communicate with internal teams and payers, and maintain accurate electronic health records in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage referral orders by reviewing for completeness, submitting requests, and tracking status for timely processing
• Communicate with internal teams and payers to provide updates on referral order status and support coordination activities
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred
• Preferred 6 months' experience in healthcare
