Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist for the YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for all medical office activity related to patient referrals
• Coordinate and schedule all patient ambulatory referrals for the appropriate specialty
• Provide information on scheduling policies, procedures, and locations to patients and referring providers

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, including four in the same job family at a lower level, or an Associate's degree with four years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to manage patient interactions using sound judgment and critical thinking
• Experience in handling high phone volumes and managing conflicting demands
• Competency in English language for accurate data entry and communication
• Proven record of exemplary attendance and reliability
