Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist, YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for all patient referrals and coordinate scheduling for the appropriate specialty
• Provide information on scheduling policies, procedures, and locations to patients and referring providers
• Manage incoming referrals and oversee the administrative activities related to patient referrals

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, including four in a similar role, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice is preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling systems
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
