Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist for the YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the central point of contact for all medical office activities related to patient referrals
• Coordinates and schedules patient ambulatory referrals for the appropriate specialty
• Serves as the principal source of information for new patient scheduling and department-specific policies

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, with four years in the same job family at the next lower level, or an Associate's degree with four years of experience
• High school education or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience in a high-volume healthcare-related call center or medical practice is preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Proven record of exemplary attendance and reliability
