Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist, YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for patient referrals and coordinate scheduling for the appropriate specialty
• Evaluate incoming referrals and provide information on scheduling policies, procedures, and locations
• Manage administrative tasks and support staff activities related to patient referrals

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, with four years in the same job family at the next lower level, or an Associate's degree with related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for work experience
• Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice is preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with electronic medical record systems
• Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record
