Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist for the YM CARE Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the central point of contact for patient referrals, coordinating and scheduling ambulatory referrals for the appropriate specialty
• Serves as the main contact for new patient referrals and provides scheduling information to patients and referring providers
• Oversees administrative activities and ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, with four years in the same job family at a lower level, or an Associate's degree with related experience
• High school level education or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice is preferred
• Proficient in medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
• Proven record of exemplary attendance, punctuality, and reliability
