Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Specialist to manage patient referrals and scheduling in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for all medical office activities related to patient referrals
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling of patient ambulatory referrals for the appropriate specialty
• Provide information on scheduling policies, procedures, and locations to patients and referring providers

Required Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience, with at least four years in the same job family at a lower level, or an Associate's degree with four years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Proven ability to handle heavy phone volume and manage conflicting demands
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Competence in English language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation for accurate data entry
• Exemplary attendance, punctuality, and reliability record
