Referral Verification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Verification Service Specialist to support the 340B program by verifying provider referral relationships for covered entity patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process prescription claims within the referral verification queue using the designated application
• Research and validate referral providers' specialty, practice details, and contact information
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and company policies while monitoring referral documentation and data integrity

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the 340B program or a related healthcare environment, preferably in pharmacy
• Understanding of healthcare documentation, medical records, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Atlassian tools is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
