Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referrals Coordinator 2 to process referrals from Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and civilian providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Recognizes sensitive diagnoses and referrals requiring Case Management and forwards them for review
Handles inbound calls, performs data entry, and reviews referrals for benefits and medical necessity
Contacts MTFs and civilian providers to obtain additional information required to complete referrals

Required Qualifications:

U.S. citizenship
Interim approval for government security clearance
2+ years of customer service or administrative/data entry experience
2+ years of healthcare experience with knowledge of medical terminology and codes
Strong telephonic customer service skills and ability to work autonomously
