Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referrals Specialist responsible for managing the registration and screening process for patients seeking behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high volume incoming and outgoing calls to facilitate a positive customer/patient experience
• Document patient demographic and health information accurately in the electronic health record system
• Verify patient eligibility, insurance benefits, and schedule appointments based on intake assessments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
• One year customer service or call center experience required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
