Refinery Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Refinery Financial Analyst II.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial stewardship for the Mechanical Division at the refinery
• Own OPEX analysis and reporting, including variance explanations and trend analysis
• Support tax and audit cycles, prepare journals, accruals, and steward balance sheet accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience in a refinery, chemicals, or heavy manufacturing environment with a focus on OPEX
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO/PM), maintenance cost flows, journals, accruals, and balance sheet stewardship
• Advanced Excel proficiency and data governance capabilities
