Refund Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Refund Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently review, analyze, and determine refunds based on claim guidelines
• Consult with other departments to ensure accurate application of refunds
• Prepare and track overpayment requests and monitor refunds in the Access database

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of medical claims analysis and adjudication experience
• Proficient in Excel and Word, with experience or ability to learn Microsoft Access
• Knowledge in CPT and ICD-10 coding terminology
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of computer systems
