Refund Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Full Time Refund Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient accounts, identify overpayments and credit balances, and reconcile correct payments received
• Investigate and resolve credit balance accounts, issue refunds, and handle phone calls regarding credit balances and refunds
• Detect posting and payer trends/errors and maintain patient files

Required Qualifications:

• Three plus years' experience working with credit balances and medical billing
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and excel in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
