Refunds Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Refunds Specialist I - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes refunds to patient and insurance accounts and prepares daily credit balance reports
• Maintains knowledge of Managed Care Contracts and Federal payors while analyzing accounts
• Communicates refund issues and ensures compliance with recording/processing procedures

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years accounts receivable experience in a hospital or medical setting required
• 1-3 years experience with Managed Care Contracts preferred
• Experience with Federal programs preferred
