Regenerative Tourism Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SME in Regenerative Tourism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop program curriculum and courses for the Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism Destination Management
• Advise on and develop curricula related to sustainable and regenerative tourism, community-based tourism, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Sustainable Ecotourism and Recreation and the Dean of Graduate Studies

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree with professional experience, prior experience in tourism and hospitality course design preferred
• Knowledge of sustainable tourism industries and best practices in destination planning and management
• Experience in community-based tourism, stakeholder engagement, and global sustainable development goals
• Understanding of economic, social, and environmental impacts of tourism and hospitality
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University
