Job Summary

To drive strategic access initiatives, the full-time Regional Account Director will manage priority accounts across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid sectors, engaging with payers to secure profitable access to Takeda's product portfolio while collaborating cross-functionally in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to secure and maintain access for Takeda brands on formularies and medical policies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across multiple departments to identify partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align payer account strategies with business objectives and drive market access initiatives
Required qualifications
  • BS/BA degree
  • 3+ years of leadership or payer account management experience
  • Experience managing a broad portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Understanding of commercial, Medicare, and PBM business dynamics
  • Familiarity with specialty and rare disease markets is preferred
