Job Summary

To support billing operations, the full-time Regional Collector will manage charge capture, insurance verification, and patient counseling regarding payment issues in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform charge capture and over-the-counter payment posting
• Verify insurance eligibility and handle pre-authorizations
• Register patients and collect necessary insurance information and payments at the time of service

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of medical collections experience
• Proficiency in medical practice billing software
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and electronic billing
• Certification as a Regional Collector
