Job Summary
Providing Credentialing Management for the Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program, the Regional Credentialing Manager will work remotely while overseeing healthcare-provider credentialing and compliance processes, with some travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Complete and process healthcare-provider credentialing and recredentialing applications, ensuring compliance with health plans and facilities
- Enforce regulatory compliance and quality assurance within healthcare organizations, monitoring adherence to relevant regulations
- Maintain records and documentation of applications and verifications, actively monitoring and following up as necessary
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant medical/health systems experience, preferably in a Military Health Systems environment
- At least 1 year of experience in the acquisition and maintenance of professional licensure and privileging of military healthcare providers
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective communication with military personnel and senior medical staff
- Knowledge of AFI 44-119, DoDI 6025.13, and other pertinent DoD and MHS guidance
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with an additional 4 years of equivalent military training in Health Services Administration
