Regional Director, Engineering

Job Summary

To lead and scale a new Forward Deployed Engineering team, the full-time Regional Director, Engineering will manage a team of engineers embedded with enterprise customers, ensuring high-quality project delivery and building strong client relationships, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full arc of technical discovery and project delivery, partnering with Sales and Account teams to scope engagements and drive deal strategy
• Serve as the executive technical sponsor for high-priority engagements, ensuring quality delivery and managing stakeholder relationships
• Lead, develop, and scale a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, setting performance standards and coaching through complex challenges

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams in Forward Deployed Engineering or Solutions Engineering
• Proficiency in software development and coding, particularly in Python and Javascript/Typescript
• Experience building and owning AI-native workflows in production environments
• Ability to diagnose complex enterprise engineering environments and scope meaningful engagements
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling technical teams with a focus on excellence in project delivery
