Job Summary

Leading a team of financial planners across a multi-state territory, the full-time Regional Director of Financial Planning will mentor and develop staff to enhance client acquisition and retention while driving a high-performance culture in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a territory of approximately 30 financial planners to drive client acquisition and retention
  • Mentor and support planners to enhance their success and client engagement throughout the sales process
  • Provide feedback on planner performance and collaborate with senior management to drive organizational goals
Required qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in financial services sales management across a distributed, multi-state territory
  • 5+ years of direct experience leading a team of 10 or more individuals, including hiring and performance management
  • Deep understanding of financial services, comprehensive financial planning, and registered investment advisors (RIAs)
  • Proven success in managing the client engagement process and improving results through metrics and feedback
  • Experience with contact management systems and the ability to analyze client history and prospect activity
