Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate EHS team, the full-time Regional EHS Specialist will provide strategic and operational leadership for EHS performance across multiple remote locations, partnering with site leaders to drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and a proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities
- Drive implementation of EHS management systems and injury prevention programs across the region
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations while acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies
- Lead incident investigations and analyze trends to identify systemic risks and implement preventive measures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, focusing on safety program development and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations is required
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status is preferred or the ability to sit for the exam
- Proficiency with safety management systems and data analytics tools
