Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists, setting performance expectations and conducting regular assessments
• Translate corporate policy positions into tailored advocacy messaging that aligns with local political dynamics
• Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators and regulatory bodies, while monitoring relevant legislation affecting social gaming and related policies

Required qualifications

• 7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, or legislative affairs, with exposure to multiple state legislatures
• Experience managing external vendors or consultants against defined performance standards
• Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, or consumer protection policies
• Established relationships with key government officials in the assigned region
• Proficiency with legislative tracking tools
