Regional Product Owner - Accounting

Job Summary

Leading in-house ATP delivery across APAC and EMEA, the full-time Regional Product Owner - Accounting will manage accounting, tax compliance, and statutory deliverables while promoting global process standards in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of accounting close, tax compliance preparation, and statutory filings across the regions
• Mentor and develop local ATP teams, ensuring high delivery performance and adherence to client SLAs
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance operations across multiple countries in APAC and/or EMEA
• Demonstrated experience leading distributed accounting teams and managing delivery economics
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting platforms, particularly Xero, and advanced Excel skills
