Job Summary
Leading a team of Regional Sales Managers, the remote Regional Sales Director will focus on recruiting talent, developing sales strategies, and driving new logo acquisition and account expansion to exceed ambitious sales goals in the Midwest.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 Strategic Sales Representatives across the Midwest
- Build a sales team and future sales leaders while managing the sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing
- Develop and implement a business plan to consistently overachieve sales goals
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading Enterprise sales teams
- Proven track record of annual overachievement in sales
- Experience leading sales teams that sell through security channel partners
- Familiarity with complex sales cycles and SAAS sales, particularly in cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations, and security
- Background in successfully selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000) and using MEDDIC methodology
