Job Summary

To drive new business sales in the Heartland territory, the full-time remote Regional Sales Director will establish consultative partnerships with major worksite and voluntary benefit distributors, manage sales processes, and contribute to sales planning and forecasting.

Key responsibilities
  • Achieve annual new business sales and reenrollment objectives while demonstrating the value proposition to distribution partners
  • Generate new business opportunities through relationship building, market analysis, and cold calling channel distributors
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for activity reporting, forecasting, and business requests while providing monthly reports of pipeline and metrics
Required qualifications
  • 5 years of voluntary product sales or equivalent work experience
  • Consultative sales experience is required
  • Experience generating and analyzing reports to enhance sales or customer experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in the complete MS Office Suite
