Job Summary
Managing a team of talented Sales Engineers, the full-time Regional Sales Engineering Manager will provide technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations while supporting customer-facing activities for key accounts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales Team to communicate the Datadog value proposition and strategy to customers
- Manage and mentor a team to ensure customer success in pre-sales activities and assist in recruiting top talent
- Develop strong relationships with Product Management, Support, and Enablement to ensure continuity between pre and post-sales activities
Required qualifications
- 1-3+ years in a Sales Engineering team lead or mentorship role, with at least 3 years in a client-facing Sales Engineering position
- Proven ability to grow and develop a team, along with experience in recruiting individual contributors and leaders
- Knowledgeable in current infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies
- Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate business benefits and technical advantages
- A strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving
