Regional Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the underwriting department in daily operations, the full-time Regional Underwriting Manager will provide coaching and training to Underwriters, manage loan pipelines, and assist with special projects in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Underwriters on processes and guidelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Underwriter questions and clarifications
• Manage loan pipelines to ensure adherence to service level agreements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications required; USDA experience is a plus
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with agency guideline knowledge
• 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience
• Experience with Encompass LOS and knowledge of ATR/QM requirements
