Regional Vice President of Land Acquisition
Job Summary
To support new home construction needs, the full-time Regional Vice President of Land Acquisition will identify and evaluate land opportunities, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with the Land Acquisition team to meet regional goals, with the flexibility to work remotely or from various locations including Atlanta, Birmingham, and Huntsville.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential locations for new homes through various sources including MLS and private parties
- Negotiate and facilitate the execution of contracts for purchasing lots or land
- Collaborate with Division Managers to ensure land acquisition aligns with regional needs and budgetary constraints
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification, accreditation, or job experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in lot or land acquisition
- Strong organizational skills to manage contract processes and schedules
- Proficiency in using multiple software programs for communication and documentation
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changes effectively
