Regional Vice President of Payment Recovery

Job Summary

To drive organizational objectives and ensure financial success, the full-time remote Regional Vice President of Payment Recovery will oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans, manage operational activities, and foster a client-focused environment within their assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of short- and long-term plans to achieve regional goals and financial objectives
• Directs business development efforts to increase market share and enhance service offerings to existing clients
• Oversees employee performance management, ensuring effective evaluation, coaching, and development processes are in place

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Healthcare Management, Business (MBA/MHA) or related field
• Minimum of five years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management or related healthcare operations management roles
• Deep understanding of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, and claims processing
• Proficiency in analyzing payer contracts and negotiating terms for maximum reimbursement
• Experience in managing appeals and disputes with payers to recover underpaid claims
