Registered Architectural Specifications Writer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Remote Registered Architectural Specifications Writer will develop project specifications, provide technical advice throughout the design and construction process, and maintain relationships with product representatives while collaborating on large-scale, complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project specifications for both interiors and exteriors
• Provide technical advice and support to architecture teams from design through construction
• Assist teams with product and system research, connecting them with manufacturers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Architecture school
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in specifications development
• Experience with Life Sciences projects, particularly in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing and building codes
• Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Office applications, and Bluebeam Revu
