Registered Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support clinical programs and enhance medication management, the full-time Registered Clinical Pharmacist will conduct Medicare-Medicaid coverage determinations, oversee drug utilization reviews, and collaborate with healthcare teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Complete clinical reviews for Medicare-Medicaid coverage determinations and provide recommendations to improve medication regimens
• Support clinical programs by contributing to formulary development and monitoring the efficiency of the Prior Authorization process
• Maintain communication with internal departments and assist in resolving pharmacy-related inquiries from members

Required qualifications

• Active Registered Pharmacist license in State of Residence
• 1+ year of managed care pharmacist experience (Medicaid and/or Medicare) or completion of PGY1 managed care residency
• 1+ year of previous clinical pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical program components and formulary designs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
