Job Summary
To support patient care at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the part-time Registered Dietitian - Florida Licensed will develop and implement nutritional care plans based on patient assessments, focusing on both growth and disease state requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Writes orders per policy and communicates dietary history through medical records
- Counsels patients and significant others on nutritional principles and dietary plans, considering cultural and ethnic requests
- Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and serves as a nutrition care consultant
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a U.S. regionally accredited university or college
- Completion of coursework accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education (CADE)
- Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
- State of Florida licensure as a Registered Dietitian
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
