Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Registered Dietitian (GA, CT) will lead virtual meetings focused on weight loss and management for patients with obesity, utilizing a compassionate and professional approach.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic, video, or web-based individual or group sessions to promote healthy lifestyle changes
- Provide counseling and support for weight management, metabolic health, and related chronic conditions
- Document participant sessions using proprietary web-based portals while adhering to policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field, with current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
- 2+ years of experience in clinical, community, or research dietetics, with at least 1 year focused on weight management counseling
- Experience in telemedicine and proficiency in patient care and health coaching
- Certification in health coaching or as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is preferred
- Registered in one or more of the following states: GA, CT
