Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Job Summary
To support virtual weight management initiatives, the full-time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will assess patients' nutritional status, provide medical nutrition therapy, and collaborate with healthcare teams, all while working remotely during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' nutritional status, adjusting care based on scientific literature and clinical evaluations
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling, developing and implementing tailored nutrition plans for clients
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition into comprehensive patient care and maintain thorough documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree if Registered Dietitian (RD) before 1/1/2024; Master's degree if RD on or after 1/1/2024
- Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) and Licensed by the applicable state Board of Dietetics and Nutrition required
- RD/LDN registry eligible with registration required within 4 months of hire
- Specialty certification (e.g., CDCES, CNSC) may be required based on departmental needs
- Knowledge of principles of growth and development relevant to the patient population served
